Nineteen years after leaving I Mother Earth, vocalist Edwin is returning to the fold.
He’s helping the CanCon rockers celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album, Scenery and Fish.
Edwin and IME are also teaming up with another ’90s powerhouse, Our Lady Peace, for a series of tour dates.
The two bands will perform Oct. 20 at the Shaw Conference Centre. Tickets are $55 plus service charges. On sale: June 24 at Ticketmaster.ca.
Edwin left IME in 1997 to pursue a solo career. He released three albums, including Another Spin Around the Sun, and eventually joined another band, Crash Karma, with OLP’s former guitarist Mike Turner.
IME’s Tanna brothers, Jag and Christian, continued with new frontman Brian Byrne from 1997 until the band’s breakup in 2003. The three reunited from 2012 to 2015. Byrne is now hosting a weekday afternoon show for a Halifax radio station, Live 105.
