Afraid of missing Billy Talent’s next Edmonton show?

Mark this date in your calendar: Feb. 21 at the Shaw Conference Centre. The Toronto rockers will be joined by Monster Truck and The Dirty Nil. Tickets are $60.50 plus service charges. On sale: Oct. 29 at ticketmaster.ca.

The show is part of Billy Talent’s tour in support of the band’s fifth album, Afraid of Heights. Louder Than The DJ is their latest single: 

• The Tea Party’s fourth album, Transmission, is about to turn 20 years old and the Windsor trio want to celebrate with a Canadian tour/birthday party. 

Jeff Martin, Stuart Chatwood and Jeff Burroughs will perform the 11-song effort in its entirety on March 24 at the River Cree. Tickets are $29.99 plus service charges. On sale: Oct. 28 via ticketmaster.ca

Transmission, which was released Aug. 19, 1997, features hits like Release, Psychopomp, Babylon and Temptation. 

• Australian producer Flume will headline Get Together Alberta on Dec. 27 at the Shaw Conference Centre. Getter, Griz, and Shaun Frank will also play the holiday dance party.
