* alt-J is all yours, Edmonton. For one night only, that is.

The award-winning experimental British rockers will perform Monday, Sept. 14 at the Shaw Conference Centre.

Tickets are $45 plus service charges. On sale: Friday at Ticketmaster.

alt-J’s debut, An Awesome Wave, won Britain’s Mercury Music Prize in 2012. The band’s second and latest, This Is All Yours, was nominated for Alternative Music Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards in February.

* Milo Greene — not a person, but a band of L.A. popsters — will perform Thursday, May 28 at the Starlite Room.  Tickets are $22 plus service charges. On sale: Friday at Ticketfly.

*  If you didn’t catch Zerbin’s show at the Pawn Shop last week, the Edmonton/Victoria trio will play Saturday, May 23 at Denizen Hall as part of a Canadian tour. The indie rockers will release their latest effort, Darling, on April 14.

Apparently, the press release is wrong. According to a tweet, Zerbin says the band will perform at the Pawn Shop.
